In the summer of 1947, the New Mexico desert was a vast and lonely place — red rock, scrub brush, and silence stretching all the way to the horizon. Most folks passed through quickly. But not Bob.
Prospector Bob was an armadillo of simple pleasures and stubborn determination. Thirty years wandering the desert Southwest, panning for gold in dry creek beds, sleeping under skies so full of stars they looked like spilled sugar on black velvet. He had a weathered canvas tent, a mule named Biscuit, a battered tin coffee pot — and a heart full of quiet contentment.
"A man doesn't need much," Bob would say to Biscuit, "as long as he's got good coffee, good stars, and honest work."
He had no idea that on one particular July night, his simple life was about to change forever.
This tank top features original artwork from Chapter One: The Desert Life — the first chapter of The Legend of the 1947 Roswell Encounter by Amanda Jean. Soft, breathable, and built for those who live life on their own terms — just like Bob.
